Sometimes People Don't want to be the Buyer But ''The seller and Creator'', that becomes a problem when way too many people get the same idea stuck to their heads. Is upsetting i'm not gonna sit in here and deny it, that's the reason why i'm writing this because i have been very upset for a while about it but last night as i was looking at some flyer of some activity (on facebook) and that is when i came across with some pages of ''Jewelry makers'' that raised my eyebrow even more. i Don't want to belong to a circle that sells the same crap (yes i said Crap). that being said all these pieces where i used these skulls ''cabochons'' are only gonna be sold by request, NOT making more pieces using those because i've noticed the pletoria of people using them. Anyhow Next week i'm going to start sculpting pieces (originals -only me is gonna have those- so keep an eye.). I have no idea where people get to copy each other(aside from etsy) but is annoying and to me even more because i have a steady business (i'm not a girl ''making crafts'' out of boredom). For now im keeping my old styles. I have amazing ideas to be made come true soon. i'm concentrating a lot in the corsets, victorian necklaces, corset necklaces as well other cool stuff coming soon.
And People Please ''you don't need a bite of each piece of cake'', for once be a buyer!.. and yes i did not know the amount of people selling these cabochons, i feel kind of guilty knowing that i used those in a few pieces. However if a customer still want a piece of jewely using those, well that becomes a request and i gladly do it, at this point i'm only selling those that are already made. Now i feel forced to be even more creative and i accept the challenge!.

New sewing machine, that's excellent since the other one was exaclty like a car with bad alignment. i finished my last projects strugguling, im glad that's over.
I haven't been creative during the past 2 weeks, personal situations can really dig deep into someones mind until you feel restless and clueless. hopefully the word Eternal does NOT apply in here (good). i want to prepare a decent portfolio to have my wardrobe artist profile, i want to start renting outfits since many people can't afford to buy but they would love to rent (as well photographers) for shootings/special events. that being said i need to buy more fabrics and start working soon.
I know this is completely different of what i was (previously) talking about but it is related to clothes, sewing and of course clients. when clients lie about their size! Ladies/Gentlemen that is Not a good idea, specially when you are getting something custom made. for example never ever lie about your size when you are getting an outfit made of Latex or a corset; big mistake. This Fellow corset maker who is very serious about her clients measurements but still her new client didn't follow the rules, the corset didn't fit and of course she was blaming this corset maker (let me add this person is super experienced over 15 years making corsets).The woman claimed to be a 26 inches waist, but probably she was 28 or even 30. You that are reading me this makes a big big difference considering the fact that as it is the corset needs to be smaller than you regular waist size. what a mess!... that is terrifying too because who wants to deal with a customer like that?.
i have many things to do today, so im off i'll be back sometime next week or perhaps this week? who knows
I was trying to book an appointment with Kore Flatmo (one of the best tattoo artist in the world) search him. but i had to wait until the end of summer and well is a whole process. i'm very picky, from every 5 tattoo artists, 2 suck, 2 are hit or miss and only one is good, Alas after my tattoo guy told me he quit the shop and it was a ''weird moment'' for him to finish my tattoo (i must confess that bothered me for many reasons), anyhow i have been looking at artists porfolios for the past 3 days, not an easy job. but i finally found the place is White Crane Tattoo (if you are located in Cincinnati or close check them out), next week i'm meeting with Daniel Gray (i love his portfolio) to give him the deposit and talk about what i'm gonna be adding to my half sleeve.
Other than that i been having a hard time with personal issues and Customers- if you are not gonna buy something from me don't contact me saying that you are buying it and then disappearing , let me know and i will have no problem with it. people doesn't realize that many times i only have one item left and i decide to sell it to X person because i know him/her but at the other end i have Z customer that also wants to buy it, at the moment i need to make a quick decision and when X person fails to buy the product then Z isn't interested anymore, and right there i lose a sell. it happened to me twice and it won't happen anymore.
