WOW been lazy and busy!

yes both! but hello!!, i have some many projects/ideas to do, im almost done with my web-site http://myprettyspooky.com/ and  is December. i wanna be a happier person; it feels good. i wanna take this xmas to a totally new level, anyhow i'll be updating this sometime next week.

also i wanna thanks my beautiful friend Amber who sent me an awesome card with cute photos!:), i'll be posting her Etsy link next time, she is am amazing artist, i swear!

working extra hard

Finally im working on the corset-dress mock up. im working extra hard on this project because is a really cool idea; i love corset dresses. The client is really happy and i won't disappoint. im using some green and blue fabric i had to create this mock-up. the original one is going to be black. well im tired i'll post pictures with updates starting on monday

I strongly believe  that is not good when someone is avoiding a subject and goes MIA for a while. i find it very silly not to reply to an e-mail  to dodge a question. losing your friends over an answer. like Charlie Sheen said: ''BRING IT!'' haha!!

Ps- whenever someone does the dodging question to me, i just keep asking.

sold out but i have other colors

Got a new necklace that was supossed to go for sale today but it got sold out way before it hit my web-store. i don't have these colors of beads at this time maybe in a month, so if anybody is interested contact me. (i do have blue, white and green.)

Updates and random bliss

Hopefully i'll get the pattern done by tomorrow (im half way done), i have too many things  to do yet im so far behind but i have to work on paid projects first. Im  dying to see how this corset-dress is gonna looks like , i need to talk to my client to plan about color, details and other stuff she wants.  my best advice (always) is that if you want a corset that you want to use frequently your color should be black; you can't go wrong with black.

anyhow still working on the website, it's almost done. remember folks i have to do EVERYTHING from photography, art, design, sewing, jewelry making, glass work, pattern, drafting, etc i got a lot on my plate friends, you guys have no idea. Let's don't forget School, and my son (he is handful!).

Although i have been super busy,  i do check my e-mail (at least once a day business reasons mostly) and i got this e-mail let me know that Zak Bagans from my favorite Paranormal show Ghost Adventures has a book! im so buying it, everybody knows im very deep into the Paranormal Phenomena,  oh let me just upload the cover ... i love these guys, now im also watching the tv show The Dead Files (decent show)---------------->

oh i had to mention this, i let everyone know that  i have no time to send e-mails, chats, facebook/yahoo talking (typing) and my iphone won't stop ringing (off the hook). I won't be able to do any kind of networking nor having a social ''life'' until tuesday(earliest) why? the reason is my lack of concentration and if i stop working on something is really hard to go back to the same state of mind sometimes i give up for the day(not good), that being said im keeping my full attention on my work. anyhow im going to get some sleep tomorrow is monday!

Making a Pattern for a customer, this is quite exciting because is more than a corset ; is a corset dress.  i can't wait to get this done so i can move into the next step that is the mock up so she can try it on and from there i get to know if theres anything i need to fix. i like my customers to be happy.

i know this is random but hey im the queen of random crap!, dying my hair soon YES at 2:30am!!

These beads are G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S (Gah it was hard to type like that!! lol) anyhow pictures can't really show the color of these beads. i am known for wanting pretty beads, i can't work with beads/gems that are common or ''average'', i like everything that looks bright, beautiful, different... take a look at these ones (Above)

Important Information

Quick!, now im making corset tops for S39.99, any fabric that the customer wants, the  boning however is plastic, if the customer wants steel then is gonna cost more. i think customers don't realize how expensive it is. im a corset lover i have paid 400 and 500 hundred for a corset alone, yes! all the fabric, steel, work, pattern making and other materials are very expensive, the corset that people/stores sell for 40 or 50 aren't suitable for cinching (not steel just plastic) and the quality is NEVER the same.  im very flexible dear friends but it is what it is. If  a customer wants a real corset then this customer needs to be ready to pay from  $100 and up (trust me).  contact me :)  im always willing to help the customer by working out some sort of deal (from layway,payments, etc) so the customer is happy and able to buy a  product when is so pricey (i understand)

Stressy building my own web-store

Yes i am. The person that was supossed to help me out never did so im building it myself. anyhow can't wait to finish it, i'll be paying $10.00 a month (yahoo) and i don't need to compete with other sellers(etsy), no being able to sell all the things i want to sell (not only handmade) and last but not least paying 20 cents per item when i know im not getting any traffic at all, the clients i have are from all over but a random customer through etsy.

i feel that people just network, ''favorite'' other people stuff, copy other people ideas, pretty pictures, many time outrageous prices but traffic? i don't know. so i'll be keeping 4 to 5 items in there (just  in case) and for now on i have my own webstore, how cool is that? i chose pink, violet and white(website colors) im hoping to be done with it soon. well i just wanted to update my blog even though i don't know if anybody read this?

 Been busy ( as usual) thinking in take some classes during this summer...im back at working at my corsets and other designs, i wasn't making anything for the past weeks since i was doing too many things at the same time, and trust me when i tell you LOTS of things.. but im back.... now i added jewelry and belt buckles.. jewelry is sold as it is or you can customize your own, from the shape, color and anything you want ...here is an example of my betty page necklace

wow this is just crazy

i've been so busy that i didn't have the time to buy  a few materials that i needed to finish this underbust corset, been making clothing for a while but im just starting in this corset making business and what i want to achieve  is to make affordable corsets with cute fabrics that's all...anyhow is so hard to buy boning, since any fabrics store carry that kind of steel bone around  i had to buy it over the internet, it was either too expensive or  really cheap with ourageous shipping and handling charges, common' i ship stuff all the time and  i know the prices that being said; i won't allow anybody to extra-charge me when i know this business. Finally i came across with a company that sells bones ( spiral and flat) pretty good prices and they are very honest about the shipping and handling charges however they did NOT have the bigger size of bones and that's no good. so i'll keep searching around to see if i find a good seller of corset making supplies...

Today is a boring day, it feels like a Sunday (and if by any change a person reading this knows me) should know i hate Sundays and i just wanna sleep until monday ha! but i have lots of responsabilities so i say to myself Hang in there! wish you all a happy weekend

Happy New Year!

During the beginning of this year, many things have changed. im switching of career, im not longer into getting this Psychology Doctorate, so gonna get two years more  (probably Microbiology) and then going to Dental School  to become a Dentist. it has been tough but i know what's the best for me. Anyhow im finishing some new corsets then i'll work in some beautiful shirts design and i think i'll be ready to open my online store.
